One Faith: Many Tongues

$2.40

The book agrees that ethnicity in itself is not bad. It is a normal human reality, which could be used positively to the advantage of individuals and groups, to foster the sense of belonging and help in human ethical formation. It is the management of ethnicity that sometimes goes wrong. This happens when ethnicity is manipulated into an instrument of exclusion, corruption, oppression and violence. All the contributors of this book also emphasized the role of leadership in mangling ethnicity. When ethnicity degenerates into ethnocentrism and negative forms of prejudice and discrimination, it is a mark of failure in leadership.
